Following months of planning and a stunning amount of input by fans, Nissan's second crowd-sourced vehicle, Project Titan, was finally ready to set out on an Alaskan adventure this past September. Navigated by two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni, veterans Kevin McMahon and David Guzman, the truck was put through the ringer, tackling the northwest state's rugged trails.

The Nissan LEAF has earned a coveted spot in Good Housekeeping's November buyer's guide for its outstanding capabilities and overall value. It's one of only eight cars to be included in their annual review, making the recognition a huge honor for Nissan.

Interbrand, a top brand consultant company, has released their annual Best Global Brands Study and we're honored to announce that Nissan made this year's list! Coming in at 56, Nissan moved up nine spots from last year, proving that the company's continuous improvements have had a positive effect on their overall growth.

Bring your kids on a Halloween adventure they'll never forget by taking a ride on the Halloween Treat Train at Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Halloween candy will be passed out during both rides, which will commence on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. In addition to getting tasty treats, passengers are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes in order to have a little fun and get into the Halloween spirit.

Texas Nissan would like to thank everyone who came out and participated in our New Owner's Clinic, which was held on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Close to 40 new car owners showed up for event, making it a great turnout, and we could not be happier with its success. It was a fun evening for all and we enjoyed teaching everyone about their newly purchased Nissan car, truck or SUV.

When driving on the highway you never know what you're going to encounter and oftentimes you need to think on your feet to avoid what could be a dangerous scenario. This was the case for one Brazilian motorcyclist, who recently came in contact with a truck during his daily commute across town.

Nissan is coming up on the 30th anniversary of their first-ever pole position in the Bathurst 1000, and to celebrate the historic moment, the brand will be paying homage to the car that made it all possible this year's Australian race: a 1984 Nissan Bluebird. Originally driven by George Fury, the Bluebird broke the Bathurst Top 10 Shootout record, clocking in at 2 minutes and 13.85 seconds.

The next-generation Nissan Leaf isn't scheduled to debut until 2016, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from circulating information about its potential upcoming changes. So far, we've heard that the all-new model will be seeing a drastic increase in range, allowing drivers to travel much farther on a full charge - a huge benefit.

Texas Nissan would like to sincerely thank each and every person who participated in our Chamber Business Exchange earlier this month, where we invited many business owners to come out to our dealership and share a little bit about what they do. We had an excellent turnout and enjoyed getting to know everyone who attended. Created to show America why Nissan's commercials vans are some of the top vehicles for small businesses owners, the campaign uses a set of videos to showcase the grueling testing process each model goes through to ensure they exceed quality standards.
