Following months of planning and a stunning amount of input by fans, Nissan's second crowd-sourced vehicle, Project Titan, was finally ready to set out on an Alaskan adventure this past September. Navigated by two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni, veterans Kevin McMahon and David Guzman, the truck was put through the ringer, tackling the northwest state's rugged trails. The entire excursion was filmed in order to give fans a glimpse of the extreme journey that took place, and just recently, Nissan unveiled the complete short film, which you can view below.
Cultivated from an idea by journalist Joe Byers, Project Titan took over eight months to complete. Fans had their hands in every step of the project, suggesting customizations along the way. Once the pickup was equipped to take on the Alaskan trails in mid-September, Guzman and McMahon began their expedition, making their way their way through both on-road and off-road terrain. The weather conditions and rough landscape made it challenging at times, but the duo surged through and completed the voyage in October. They celebrated their return at the State Fair of Texas and reminisced about their trip of a lifetime.
