2017 Nissan Quest

Nissan is constantly taking new innovative leaps in the automotive world to alter the way cars are developed and designed. Just last year Nissan of Europe introduced a self-cleaning Note prototype to the world, which was made possible through the use of Ultra-Ever Dry paint, and now the division is debuting entirely new technology: glow-in-the-dark paint. This time around Nissan used an all-electric LEAF to show off their latest paint technology.

The Nissan LEAF has done what no other plug-in has been able to do this year: It received an IHS Automotive Loyalty Award. Due to its loyal fanbase, the LEAF was crowned the best Non-Luxury Traditional Compact Car on the market today. The honor was recently bestowed upon the popular EV at the Detroit Auto Show, where Nissan announced they are working on a 200-mile range version of the LEAF slated to debut sometime in 2016/17.

Texas Nissan is celebrating the holidays this year by giving back to the community. From now until Dec. 15, we're encouraging everyone within the Grapevine community to bring canned and non-perishable food items down to the dealership. All donations will then go to the North Texas Food Bank, where they will be used to provide meals for those in need during the winter months.

Back in December 2013, the automotive world and internet users everywhere were impressed when filmmaker Luke Aker posted a Craigslist ad selling his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE, along with a creative, tongue-in-cheek video highlighting the car's features. The clip instantly went viral and when Nissan heard about it, they were so amused that they decided to purchase the '96 Maxima and eventually restore it.

Following months of planning and a stunning amount of input by fans, Nissan's second crowd-sourced vehicle, Project Titan, was finally ready to set out on an Alaskan adventure this past September. Navigated by two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni, veterans Kevin McMahon and David Guzman, the truck was put through the ringer, tackling the northwest state's rugged trails.

The Nissan LEAF has earned a coveted spot in Good Housekeeping's November buyer's guide for its outstanding capabilities and overall value. It's one of only eight cars to be included in their annual review, making the recognition a huge honor for Nissan.

Interbrand, a top brand consultant company, has released their annual Best Global Brands Study and we're honored to announce that Nissan made this year's list! Coming in at 56, Nissan moved up nine spots from last year, proving that the company's continuous improvements have had a positive effect on their overall growth.
