Automakers from all across the world have been filmed competing on the famed Le Mans track in France, but up until now, no one has ever shot a 360-degree video of their run. As a brand that has always strived to set itself apart from other big names in the automotive business, Nissan recently decided to become the first car brand to create a 360-degree video on the track, using a GT-R to complete the feat. The highly innovative recording, which has now been released to the public, gives Nissan fans a unique, all-around view of a standard Le Mans run. It also features a special appearance from the Nissan GT-R NISMO, a worthy component for the high-performance GT-R.

Nissan's 360-degree Le Mans video, featuring the GT-R and GT-R NISMO, was filmed after a Le Mans test run on a closed circuit. Due to both cars traveling at restricted speeds, the video is sped up to give viewers a sense of how fast a typical Le Mans lap actually is.

You can watch the full video of the lap below; however, for top quality, it's best to view it on Google Chrome or the YouTube app on Android or iOS.
