Remember that glow-in-the-dark Nissan LEAF we told you about back in February? Well, it turns out Nissan just used it to break a Guinness World Record! The unique car, which glows using UV solar energy, was recently utilized to create the world's "Largest Glow-in-the-Dark Painting." Performed in London, England, the painting was a self-portrait of the all-electric LEAF.

Motoring artist Ian Cook of Popbangcolour was the brains behind the glow-in-the-dark painting. He jumped at the chance to collaborate with Nissan on the project and take his work to the next level. Cook, who is used to utilizing radio-controlled cars to perform his art, knew it would be a challenge to work on such a large platform, but he completed the project without a hitch. He used the LEAF's tires to spread glow-in-the-dark paint around the canvas, and after 61 hours and 60 liters of acrylic paint, the painting was finished. The entire artwork measures in at 207.68m2 - a number that was recorded by an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on March 20, 2015.
