The brand-new 2014 Nissan Rogue has been officially declared the "Best-In-Class Mid-Size Crossover SUV" by automotive marketing brand, AutoPacific, in their annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. The VSA's, which are determined based off of how satisfied an owner is with their new car purchase, are only awarded to cars, trucks and SUVs that display top-notch satisfaction and the 2014 Rogue was a prime choice for its segment this year, proving Nissan knows what their customers want.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area has seen a spike in Nissan LEAF sales due to an onslaught of local benefits aimed specifically at LEAF owners, so it came as no surprise when we recently found out that a Dallas couple purchased the 50,000th LEAF, making the model the first EV to reach 50,000 sales. The proud owners, Todd and Lisa Bolt, who work at a local church, decided to jump on the LEAF bandwagon after a pastor purchased a LEAF of his own.

The adoption of the U.S. flag is one of our nation's most historic moments, and to commemorate the event, Grapevine will be hosting their annual Flag Day Celebration on June 14 at the Grapevine Gazebo, located in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine. Open to the public, the city is encouraging everyone to attend the free event to honor the U.S. flag on its official holiday and celebrate its impact on our country.

Nissan's ZEOD RC is gearing up for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will be held June 14-15, and as a part of its preparation, the racecar recently underwent crash testing to measure its safety. Specifically focused on assessing the ZEOD RC's carbon fiber construction, Nissan tested the racecar by seeing how it would hold up when hitting a stationary object.
