Texas Nissan of Grapevine

Nissan is constantly taking new innovative leaps in the automotive world to alter the way cars are developed and designed. Just last year Nissan of Europe introduced a self-cleaning Note prototype to the world, which was made possible through the use of Ultra-Ever Dry paint, and now the division is debuting entirely new technology: glow-in-the-dark paint. This time around Nissan used an all-electric LEAF to show off their latest paint technology.

The Nissan LEAF has done what no other plug-in has been able to do this year: It received an IHS Automotive Loyalty Award. Due to its loyal fanbase, the LEAF was crowned the best Non-Luxury Traditional Compact Car on the market today. The honor was recently bestowed upon the popular EV at the Detroit Auto Show, where Nissan announced they are working on a 200-mile range version of the LEAF slated to debut sometime in 2016/17.
