We are beyond honored to announce that Nissan is now the official automotive partner of Wounded Warrior Project. Over the past year alone, Nissan has conducted numerous ventures with WWP and has proven itself to be the ideal automotive partner for the organization, whose mission it is to create programs aimed at assisting wounded veterans once they return to civilian life.

Through the new partnership, Nissan hopes to raise awareness and funds for Wounded Warrior Project with help from its U.S. dealerships. The company plans to hold special promotions and events at its 1,072 dealerships across the country. WWP merchandise and unique offers will be available at dealerships that choose to participate and support the cause. All proceeds collected will go to the Wounded Warrior Project and the organization’s continuous efforts to help veterans in need.

"Nissan and Nissan dealers are proud to be helping support our nation's heroes by raising awareness and support through local promotions and events, as well as continuing our efforts at the national level," said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales, Marketing & Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc. "It's Nissan's way of honoring the service to those who sacrifice so much for all of us, including their devoted family members."

Nissan has been a huge supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project over the years. In 2014, they teamed up with WWP for "Project Titan," where they enlisted two injured veterans to go on a 10-day excursion through Alaska in a Titan; and most recently, they joined forces again, alongside Habitat for Humanity, to build a brand-new house within the Dallas community for a wounded veteran.

"On behalf of those we serve, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Nissan for its dedication to supporting our nation's wounded veterans, their families and caregivers," said WWP CEO Steve Nardizzi. "Partnerships like these continually renew WWP's enthusiasm in our mission to honor and empower those who have sacrificed and endured so much in the service of our country."
