Just last year Nissan of Europe introduced a self-cleaning Note prototype to the world, which was made possible through the use of Ultra-Ever Dry paint, and now the division is debuting entirely new technology: glow-in-the-dark paint. This time around Nissan used an all-electric LEAF to show off their latest paint technology.

The Nissan LEAF has done what no other plug-in has been able to do this year: It received an IHS Automotive Loyalty Award. Due to its loyal fanbase, the LEAF was crowned the best Non-Luxury Traditional Compact Car on the market today. The honor was recently bestowed upon the popular EV at the Detroit Auto Show, where Nissan announced they are working on a 200-mile range version of the LEAF slated to debut sometime in 2016/17.
