2017 Nissan Rogue Changes

Back and better than ever, the Nissan Rogue is showing off an updated look inside and out. The SUV dons a new front fascia with revised headlights, a V-Motion grille and a restyled bumper, while the side doors get new chrome-trim moldings and the rear adds LED boomerang taillights. Rogue also gains new features like a motion-activated liftgate as well as a brand-new super-efficient hybrid model and a limited-production Star Wars edition that's firing up "Rogue One" fans. Rogue Models & Cabin Appointments

The 2017 Nissan Rogue is on sale in the Dallas area with available S, SV and SL trim levels, as well as a new hybrid lineup that comes similarly equipped. Like the 2016 Rogue, the 2017 model is outfitted with standard equipment like Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone and Audio Streaming, a rearview camera, cruise control, a trip computer and Nissan's Divide-N-Hide Cargo System.

The SUV offers several new features this year as well, including a motion-activated liftgate, remote start, a heated steering wheel, and a new Platinum Reserve Interior Package that adds tan leather seats with eye-catching quilted leather inserts.

Rogue Powertrain Specs

Test drive a 2017 Nissan Rogue in Grapevine to see just how efficient it is. The SUV's standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder creates 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque, and comes mated to a CVT automatic that sends power to a front-wheel drivetrain. With this setup, EPA estimates are 26 city/33 highway mpg. All-wheel drive is optional, and brings fuel economy ratings to 25/32 mpg, which is still very impressive. With the new 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid, mpg estimates are even better; the hybrid model's 176-hp powertrain achieves 33 city/35 highway mpg with FWD and 31/34 with AWD.

Built-in Safety for Families

If you're shopping for a safe family SUV, buying or leasing a 2017 Nissan Rogue in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is a solid choice. The 2017 Rogue has earned the elite status of Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS, and comes equipped with a plethora of standard safety equipment such as the advanced Nissan airbag system, Vehicle Dynamic Control with a Traction Control System, and a strong Zone Body build with crumple zones. In addition, 2017 Nissan Rogue reviews say the SUV's driver-assist features are top-notch. When equipped with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring and new Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rogue offers superior protection.
