In celebration of their 10-year partnership with Habitat for Humanity this year, Nissan decided to present the organization with a $1 million grant that will go towards building homes for families in need and Habitat's disaster relief initiatives. As a company dedicated to giving back to the community, Nissan is proud to support Habitat for Humanity and looks forward to helping the organization carry out their mission.

Since their partnership began in 2005, Nissan has donated over $13 million to Habitat for Humanity. Part of their latest $1 million donation will go to boosting Habitat's Mobile Response fleet to ten vehicles, allowing the organization to more efficiently carry out disaster relief efforts. In addition to this contribution, Nissan has also agreed to donate five Nissan Frontier trucks or NV vans to Habitat affiliates committed to sustainable practices.

Nissan employees from across the U.S. will also participate in several Habitat for Humanity construction projects in various cities throughout the year, including Phoenix, Ariz., Atlanta, GA., Nashville, Tenn., and Dallas, Texas.

"The generous donation from Nissan and the volunteers who continue to work alongside those in need of decent housing makes such a difference in the lives of families and communities," said Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International. "We are so appreciative of Nissan's efforts to help build homes, communities and hope."
