2020 Nissan LEAF

What's New For the 2020 Nissan LEAF?

This model year continues the LEAF's second generation. All of the previous model year's features carry over to the 2020 Nissan LEAF. We love this electric vehicle, and we think you will, too.

Importantly, Nissan has established the LEAF, which has now been on the market for a decade, as an EV that enriches the driving experience. The fact the company can do that while providing multiple LEAF versions at or below the average car price makes a positive statement. If you come to test drive a LEAF with us, you'll surely want one!

2020 Nissan LEAF Has Abundant Features

Nissan offers six LEAF variants: S, SV, SL, S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus. Each trim offering a range of exceptional features and amenities starting at the base level. Highlighted features offered on the S include Hill-Start Assist, keyless ignition and entry, an eight-inch touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Moving up in trim to the SV will provide all the standard features in the S, plus NissanConnect EV, an integrated navigation system, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. If you select the Plus version of the SV, you can choose to add on the optional Technology Package with LED headlights, a surround-view parking, and Nissan's ProPILOT Assist System. The top-level SL trim caters to more luxurious features with leather upholstery and a seven-speaker premium Bose sound system.

Nissan LEAF Performance

When you see Plus in a 2020 LEAF's trim name, it denotes the model's heftier powerplant, which provides 214 horsepower. To garner that total, Nissan gives the LEAF's Plus models a 160-kilowatt motor. Without Plus in your LEAF's name, you will still enjoy 147 horsepower from a 110-kilowatt motor.

Prepare for a unique driving experience when you sit behind a LEAF's wheel. Electricity lets the popular hatchback supply all of its available horsepower from a standstill. Gas-powered vehicles cannot perform this feat.

2020 LEAF Safety in the Forefront

We appreciate the 2020 LEAF's safety aspects. Of course, this EV enjoys the stopping power anti-lock, disc brakes provide. The LEAF also amply supplies airbags. Available collision-avoidance features further raise your safety.

If an airbag-deploying collision occurs, the LEAF's tech automatically breaks the circuit that supplies the motor's power. This function increases your safety after a significant impact. Clearly, Nissan covered every base when it designed the LEAF.
