What's New For the 2019 Nissan Murano?

In 2019, we will see a few tweaks to the exterior styling in order to make this vehicle even more eye-catching. By the grille and bumper have been revised, as well as the LED fog lamps. Drivers will now have more choices for the exterior paint. They are Deep Blue, Mocha Almond, and Sunset Drift.

There are great interior updates as well. On top of the standard USB ports, drivers can now charge their devices faster than ever thanks to the addition of USB-C ports. As you move up the trim levels to the SV, you will get remote start, a hands-free power tailgate, and a sunroof. Drivers of the SL will get an upgraded sound system, heated rear seats, a 360-degree exterior camera system, and leather seating.

The top of the line Platinum features all of the above features and more. It adds ventilated front seats, 20-inch wheels, LED headlights, and a power-adjustable steering wheel column.

This engine provides drivers with 240 lb-ft of torque. Coming paired to this engine is a 2-speed CVT w/OD transmission. This combination offers drivers with an impressive level of fuel economy. The EPA estimates the 2019 Murano at 20 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway.

Key ones include automatic emergency braking, a tire pressure monitoring system with individual tire display and easy-fill tire alert, the Nissan advanced airbag system, intelligent forward collision warning, and a vehicle dynamic control with traction control system. In the event of a collision, these vehicles are prepared with seatbelt pretensioners, an energy-absorbing steering column, side-door guard beams made from high-strength steel, and front and rear crumple zones.

Drivers of certain trims of the Murano will enjoy the Nissan's Safety Shield 360 in 2019. This package comes standard on Platinum models and is available for the SL trim. It features pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, forward/reverse automated emergency braking, automatic high beams, and rear cross-traffic alert.
