The fuel-efficient Rogue appears on the scene again in the Dallas area, and it's ready to impress and attract buyers. Coming in S and SL trim levels, the new Nissan Rogue is comfortable and sporty.
Though a relatively small crossover SUV, Edmunds.com describes the Rogue as having an "upscale look and feel, with versatile interior storage." We definitely agree, even the base S model comes with the new Appearance Package, which includes chrome door handles, roof rails and privacy glass, as well as body-colored outside mirrors with integrated turn signals. It also features fold-down back seats, making loading and unloading easy. The SL trim offers those same features, plus NissanConnectSM Services and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. This year, Rogue also comes in Magnetic Black, giving buyers another sharp color choice to pick from.
Under the hood, you'll find a 2.5L four-cylinder engine, which generates 170 horsepower and 175 lb. of torque. Adding to the energetic engine of the new 2016 Nissan Rogue in the Dallas area, is the continuously variable transmission or CVT, which comes standard. The transmission can also be made available on either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive models.
For a crossover SUV, the Nissan Rogue is also fuel efficient. Front-wheel drive models achieve an EPA-estimated 28 mpg combined, 26 city and 33 highway, while the all-wheel drive Rogue gets 28 mpg combined, 25 city and 32 highway.
