2014 Nissan Pathfinder Review For Grapevine | Features & Photos

Texas Nissan Shows Off the New Nissan Pathfinder

The Pathfinder has received several big changes in its lifetime, but one of the most notable takes place this year with the debut of an all-new Pathfinder Hybrid. This new addition takes seven-passenger efficiency to the next level, offering one of the only gas-electric powertrains available on an SUV this size. And, if you choose to purchase the gas-fueled Pathfinder, you'll still get to take advantage of benchmark-setting fuel efficiency. Even with a powerful V-6, the outgoing SUV gets best-in-class fuel economy ratings. Learn more in the continuation of our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder review.

Family-size functionality meets money-saving efficiency with the Pathfinder lineup, which offers S, SV, SL, Platinum and all-new Hybrid trim levels. With any model you choose, you'll get the space, utility and value you're looking for, with the bonus of a refined performance that might just lull your kids off to sleep on lengthy commutes. Along with the addition of a new gas-electric model, the Pathfinder SL receives a new Tech package that includes features like a high-end navigation system, 8-inch touch-screen, Bluetooth audio and convenient 120-volt power outlet, just like one you'd find in your own home.

The standard powerplant on gas-only models is a 3.5L V-6 that gets 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. When properly equipped, shoppers can expect a max tow rating of 5,000 pounds with the V-6. Hybrid trims come standard with a supercharged four-cylinder and electric motor that produce a combined output of 250 horsepower. While tow capacity is reduced to 3,500 pounds with hybrid models, this is still ample power for most shoppers. If you would like to try out both powertrains, please visit our dealership at 1401 W. State Highway 114, where you can find the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and Pathfinder Hybrid for sale near Dallas, TX.
