Specs at a Glance

Enjoy a superior driving experience in the 2026 Nissan LEAF, thanks to an improved driving range and a wider selection of premium cabin materials. Its fresh look as a small SUV ensures easy maneuverability while providing an ultra-modern aesthetic. As SUVs grow in popularity, the LEAF remains one of the most economical options out there. Take a moment to compare the LEAF S+ and SV+ trims to ensure you get the exact features you want.

Performance

Both trims use an AC synchronous motor that puts out 214 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque. However, the driver-assist technologies can give each trim unique feedback on the road. The S+ comes with a rear sonar system, but the SV+ includes both front and rear sonar for easier parking control. Both configurations deliver an impressive 303 miles of range.

Appearance

As a stylish small SUV, the LEAF is built to make a great impression. S+ models are fitted with 18" steel wheels with aero covers, whereas SV+ models feature 18" aluminum-alloy wheels. The SV+ also gets extra exterior details like a turn signal indicator on the driver-side mirror. Both trims are standard with LED taillights and intelligent auto control LED low/high-beam headlights, available in colors like Deep Ocean Blue and Everest White.

Features

High-tech systems abound in the new LEAF, which features a 12.3" informational display on the S+ and a 14.3" screen on the SV+. Front wireless device charging is a standard feature on the SV+ but is not included on the S+. Inside, the S+ provides cloth seats and a 6-way adjustable driver's seat, while the SV+ comes with an 8-way adjustable driver's seat, TailorFit front seats, leatherette rear upholstery, and rear air vents. Standard safety aids like brake assist, traffic sign recognition, and hill start assist are included on both, with the SV+ offering a few extra advanced features.
