Take A Closer Look At The New Nissan ARIYA

The new Nissan ARIYA is scheduled to arrive at dealerships in 2021. The new Nissan Aryia electric vehicle has a sportier look and a departure from the traditional Nissan look and is intended to compete with the higher end of electric cars.

The All-New Nissan ARIYA

The new Nissan ARIYA, with its 87.0 battery pack, now has a driving range of 300 miles placing it in the upper range of electric vehicles. A 63.0-kWh battery is standard with the ARIYA, and either electric motors are configured in all-wheel-drive or front-wheel-drive models.

Nissan ARIYA Performance Features

The new ARIYA has dual electric motors in the front and rear and uses the advanced Nissan e-4orce all-wheel-drive technology. The 87.0 kWh battery pack is expected to deliver zero-60 acceleration in 5.0 seconds and be competitive with other high-performance electric vehicles.

It is expected for the ARIYA to have a driving range of around 300 miles and be competitive with other high-end vehicles. In addition, the ARIYA has a variety of charging options with DC fast-charging, home outlets at 110-volts or 240-volts, and available public charging facilities.

Nissan ARIYA Cabin Features

The ARIYA is designed to project a futuristic and minimal interior with free-flowing aesthetics. The Nissan zero-gravity seat blends in well with a free-flowing dash to maintain the futuristic design that blends well with the exterior.

Nissan ARIYA Infotainment and Connectivity

The focal point of the infotainment center is a 12.3-inch digital display—the large and visible display functions as an infotainment center and driver's instrument gauge cluster. The infotainment center includes connection features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and digital Route Planner technology. In addition, the new driver's sync function allows the driver to use a cell phone to sync the cabin environment while charging, thereby saving on draining the battery. It is also expected for Aryia to deploy the advanced ProPilot Remote Park feature.

Nissan ARIYA Safety Features

The new Nissan ARIYA will use the ProPilot 2.0 technology to assist in parking. Among other safety features are:

  • Standard pedestrian protection and automated braking
  • Standard lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist
  • Available semi-autonomous driving mode and adaptive cruise control
