The best-selling Rogue just got even better with the addition of the all-new 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport. While it mimics many of the same attributes as the popular Rogue, there are some notable differences. They include a 2.3-inch shorter wheelbase and a 12.1-inch shorter overall length, making the Sport easier to maneuver in tight spaces and dense city streets.
"While we expect Rogue to continue to appeal to owners with young families, Rogue Sport fills a need for singles and couples who want more space and versatility than the average sedan for everyday urban use and social activities,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.
Aside from the new features listed above, the 2017 Rogue Sport in Mesquite can also be equipped with a handy Divide-N-Hide Cargo System, which makes it easy for occupants to keep expensive electronics hidden.
On its shell, the Rogue Sport features lower body sides, sharper edges and more pronounced fenders than other Rogue models. Other exterior characteristics include body-color front and rear bumpers, black wheel arches and roof molding, available integrated turn signals, and lastly, heated outside mirrors that can wick away moisture in a hurry.
The new Rogue Sport is offered in 10 exterior colors: Monarch Orange, Nitro Lime, Mocha Almond, Magnetic Black, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Palatial Ruby, Pearl White, Glacier White and Caspian Blue.
