The 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo recently rolled into the Miami Auto Show for its much anticipated world debut. A handsome new car that is already creating a lot of buzz in the automotive world, the new SR Turbo model is the latest addition to the top-selling Sentra lineup.

Under the hood, the car gets a brand-new 1.6-liter turbocharger that makes 188 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque to offer 64 more horsepower and 52 more pound-feet of torque than non-turbo 2017 Sentra models.

"The Sentra SR Turbo is designed for buyers who want all the attributes of traditional compact sedans but also desire some serious turbo performance," said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.

Other standard attributes of the car include SR Turbo badging and a power sliding glass moonroof. The Premium Package comes with Blind-Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, leather-appointed seating and a Bose audio system that sports eight speakers.

In addition to the new SR Turbo, the 2017 Nissan Sentra is available in four other trims: S, SV, SR and SL. Slated to hit Texas Nissan soon, the 2017 Sentra is definitely worth considering as your next new car.
