Honor those who fought for the red, white and blue by attending Grapevine Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 5, in the city’s downtown. To kick things off, the parade will start the celebrations at 10 a.m. located at Main and Hudgins Streets.

Featuring numerous veteran groups and a wide range of well-dressed floats, this meaningful event is not to be missed. This year, the parade will highlight the 25th anniversary of the end of Operation Desert Storm.

When you’re done watching the awe-inspiring parade, head on down to Liberty Park, from 11-12:30 p.m. for the Veterans Fair, which will be hosted by Congressman Kenny Marchant. Here, you’ll get to indulge on great fair food like burgers, corn and more. There will also be live music, a variety of fun-filled activities and a military vehicle show.

Veteran’s Day is a time to celebrate and salute our country’s military service men and women. The federal holiday, which is observed annually on Nov. 11, is also a chance for people to learn about the many organizations available to assist veterans who are in need of food, clothing, shelter and work.

We hope you have a great time at the Veterans Day Parade and Fair!
