The Nissan Altima continues to be one of the top sedans on the market, and to keep the momentum going, Nissan is planning on giving the model an extensive refresh for 2016. Several styling enhancements and technology upgrades will be introduced on the updated version of Nissan's flagship sedan. The Nissan Altima's upcoming refresh has been in the works for quite some time. Just last year, it was reported that the sedan would likely take styling cues from the 2015 Murano and Sports Sedan Concept. As of right now, this looks like it could still be the case for Altima, but nothing has been confirmed. However, we do know the 2016 Nissan Altima will gain fresh tech and an increase in fuel economy; the current model already boasts a phenomenal EPA-estimated 38 mpg highway rating.
