The growing amount of people receiving breaking news while on the go has motivated Nissan to release a brand-new mobile version of their online newsroom, NissanNews.com, which is easily viewable on smartphones and tablets. Refreshed and simple to use, the latest version is much more responsive than the previous mobile site and is already accessible on all devices.

Part of Nissan's decision to revise the newsroom's mobile site was due in part to a 52-percent increase in mobile traffic on the site this year in comparison to last year. NissanNews.com has received 35-percent of its web traffic from mobile devices so far this year and that number is only expected to climb as the year continues. With the website's new mobile interface, users can now more easily navigate throughout the site and acquire all the news they want with a simple touch, pinch or scroll. Images and video are also downloadable with the latest version, making storing media on your phone a cinch.

"Nissan's commitment to innovation goes beyond our vehicles, and that is why it is important to offer an attractive and user-friendly interface when media visit our newsroom from a mobile device," said David Reuter, vice president, Nissan Corporate Communications. "With the new mobile responsive design of NissanNews.com, we are providing journalists more convenient access to the information they need most. This responsive design technology keeps our award-winning newsroom firmly rooted as one of the best."
