Nissan to Build New Dallas-Area Home with Veteran

Nissan has teamed up with Wounded Warrior Project and Habitat for Humanity to construct a brand-new house within the Dallas community. The automaker, which donated $500,000 to each organization in order to make the project possible, has partnered with Iraq war veteran - and current Army Reserves member - Brenda Lopez to assist with the construction of the home, scheduled to be complete by this summer.

Give Back: Texas Nissan Food Drive

Texas Nissan is celebrating the holidays this year by giving back to the community. From now until Dec. 15, we're encouraging everyone within the Grapevine community to bring canned and non-perishable food items down to the dealership. All donations will then go to the North Texas Food Bank, where they will be used to provide meals for those in need during the winter months.

Halloween Treat Train

Bring your kids on a Halloween adventure they'll never forget by taking a ride on the Halloween Treat Train at Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Halloween candy will be passed out during both rides, which will commence on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. In addition to getting tasty treats, passengers are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes in order to have a little fun and get into the Halloween spirit.

Nissan to Celebrate Record-Breaking Bluebird at this Year's Bathurst 1000

Nissan is coming up on the 30th anniversary of their first-ever pole position in the Bathurst 1000, and to celebrate the historic moment, the brand will be paying homage to the car that made it all possible this year's Australian race: a 1984 Nissan Bluebird. Originally driven by George Fury, the Bluebird broke the Bathurst Top 10 Shootout record, clocking in at 2 minutes and 13.85 seconds.
